The Bluegrass Parents of Twins and Multiples Club (BPOTMC) was founded in the early 1970s and is a non-profit organization funded by dues, donations and fund-raising events. Originally started as a Twins support group, we have enlarged our membership over the years to include higher order multiples. Our current membership is at 85 members, 18 with triplets, 2 with quadruplets and the rest with twins. We are governed by a Board of Directors and welcome new members to join the board and to get involved with our group activities.
Our general meetings are held the third Thursday of each month from September through May at Tates Creek Christian Church, 3150 Tates Creek Rd, room 114. (The church is at the corner of Albany Rd and Tates Creek.) The first 30 minutes of these meetings are set aside as a meet-and-greet for new and prospective members, and new member packets are available for those who would like to join the club. September through May, Board Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at a local restaurant, and are open to all members. Board Meeting dates in June, July, and August are determined by the board and posted in the newsletter for any non-board members who choose to attend.
